Amazing’s Better level of our Liberty Walk-in /Step-in Bathtubs are an amazing hybrid between standard walk-in bathtubs and full transition tubs. These tubs originate mostly from our own unique conceptual designs for bathers with restricted mobility issues. Amazing’s Better Walk-in / Silde-in Bathtubs offer a functional 30” wide and 60” long and full 22” deep size (availability may vary). These walk-in tubs follow the same general quality standards, built to maintain serviceable quality from a reclining tub. Our “Better” quality Liberty Walk-in Bathtub also features a squared edge inward swing door for easy access and compliance with aging-in-place guidelines.
“Better” means that these Liberty Walk-in Bathtubs
represent our mid-level quality line, and we can price
them to meet (or more often beat) any other low price
walk-in tub you might encounter on the web. Please do
not be pressured or misled into purchasing a lower
quality tub from a high pressure or “trickster” internet
sales person.
Framing is a sturdy aluminum, with a mid-grade
fiberglass shell. Design features mean more room in the
bathing well and less water usage over other step-in
reclining walk-in bathtubs having the same footprint.
Keep in mind, there are many walk-in tubs out there that
we will never sell! There are many companies who will
sell them to you and never give it another thought,
regardless of the problems you might have.
Our Better level of Liberty Line walk-in bathtubs come with options for our high quality “partially ADA compliant fixtures”, or our exclusive fully ADA compliant package. Each tub is pre-plumbed at our on factory, so you have the choice to have “Better” quality valves (actually very nice rapid flow valves that are significantly higher quality than the competition), our ADA cable operated drain systems and Amazing’s “Better” quality components. Amazing’s ADA showering system is through a deck or wall mounted diverter valve system that can include a separately plumbed TMV shower valve and an ADA hand-held shower system. The self-articulating door means easy operation for even the weakest bather.
The aluminum tubular metal with reinforced fiberglass
permits our engineers to aggressively weight test these
walk-in tubs. They rate at a respectable and serviceable
645 lbs before the frame will flex. Many years of
experience in the market has taught us these walk-in
tubs will tend to flex somewhat over time, especially
with larger bathers. But, our integrated one piece doors
and heavier hinges mean the life expectancy is
comparable to our Best Liberty Walk-in Bathtubs. We
believe that 25+ years of residential use is realistic.
